In addition to its “celery-like” taste, some people notice a mild tingling or numbing sensation on their tongue. This sensation tends to subside within a couple minutes. Some people who are sensitive to Kava may also experience mild nausea or an upset stomach, especially when consuming too much too quickly. More to this point, even if you’re someone with reverse tolerance who doesn’t feel much of anything the first time or two, we recommend sticking to one seltzer can per day.  

Assuming you do experience Kava’s relaxation and mood lift, most users start feeling the effects within 15-30 minutes and which typically last for about 3-5 hours when consumed responsibly.  

You don’t have to store our Kava seltzers in the refrigerator, though most customers do enjoy drinking our seltzers chilled. We recommend that, when not refrigerated, all Mitra9 products be stored at room temperature, so it’s best to keep them out of sunny windows.
